-
Why is the temple in a separate, second phase?
All the permits for the facilities building (phase 1), which takes anywhere from 12-18 months to get, have already been received. We are currently planning to start working on finalizing temple design to apply for permits and engage sompura which will allow us to work parallelly.

-
What are we doing with the temple in the interim between the new temple being built?
As the new facility is move-in ready, we would look to move all current pratimaji, temple and all religious and non-religious essentials with utmost respect, in accordance with Jain tradition.
There will be a dedicated temporary space within the new facility building OR a temporary temple structure at Mc Kaskle land which will be finalized with the guidance from Shri Nirmalsagarji.
-
How much do we need to raise?
JSH General Body has approved the Board of Trustees and the Joint Committee to spend up to $8MM towards construction of facilities at Mc Kaskle land. We have received General body approval to move $3M from existing funds and $2M against the Synott land hence we need to raise remaining $3M.
-

Are there different levels of giving? Will donors be publicly recognized?

You can share your key connections in government / county that may help us expediting the process
