Rice & Jain Community join forces to further global understanding of ancient Indian religion

On January 17, 2016, in a grand ceremony Jain Society of Houston collaborated with Rice University in Houston to establish the Bhagwaan Mahavir Post-Doctoral Fellowship for the study and teaching of Jainism.
This news was covered widely by Indian media in Houston, in USA and probably by some Newspapers in India too.
On January 22nd 2016, the Dean of Humanities at Rice University hosted a luncheon to celebrate this gift. I am pleased to share with you the link below of the coverage and publicity given by Rice University to this event.
